Behind the Scenes of a Halloween Party Theme – Which one to pick?

Miss Party has been thinking about an upcoming Halloween party that goes beyond most Halloween parties and pretty much crosses the invisible line of a small-scale production with set design, lighting and actors. She just isn’t satisfied with doing a generic ‘Halloween’ theme for this annual party. Where’s the fun in that?

To really get behind it she wants/needs a unique and spooky sub-theme. It makes it ever so much more fun to attend and way more fun to plan! Some of the past Halloween themes for this annual party have been ‘Fright Night’ (all things that frighten), ‘Haunted Mansion’, ‘Transylvania’ (Classic Vampires/Rocky Horror), ‘Mad Scientist’, ‘The Witches’ Lair in Raven’s Wood’, ‘Beyond the Grave’ (zombies), and last year’s awesome ‘Sleepy Hollow’s Tavern’.

For this year’s bash, Miss Party is considering a couple of theme’s but hasn’t decided on one yet. Some of the suggestions that have been thrown into the ring are ‘Frankenstein’ Steampunk-style, Sherlock Holmes/Gothic Victorian England, ‘Wicked Witches’ (classic-style), and ‘Twisted Grimm’s Fairy Tales’. They’re all great ideas, but which one to pick? Which one do you vote for?

If you’re also looking for a great Halloween party theme, take a look in Miss Party’s Menu for lots and lots of themes and ideas (for all ages). Go to ‘Seasonal and Holiday Themes and Decor’, then choose ‘Autumn’. You’ll find themes that rate high and low on the Scare-o-meter. Most of the themes’ concepts can be made much more or much less scary/spooky depending on who is on your guest list.

Trick or treating may just be for the kiddies, but (in Miss Party’s opinion) celebrating Halloween is for all ages!
