Tropical Fruit Breads – Quick, easy and delicious in the summertime!

One of the things Miss Party loves most in Hawaii are the delicious tropical fruits! At our hotel we enjoyed daily Maui-style fruit platters; ripe, fresh tropical fruit with a variety of moist and delicious slices of fruit bread. Some of the interesting combinations were delightfully tasty: banana bread (with and without macadamia nuts); coconut, pineapple and macadamia nut bread; lemon bread; blueberry bread, and strawberry with macadamia nut bread.

Inspired by the variety of summer fruits and nuts that work so beautifully for this type of bread, Miss Party has put together a series of hand-picked SUMMER fruit ‘quick bread’ recipe posts. Of course, frugal cook’s discovered decades ago this delicious way to use overripe fruit, so the idea here is nothing new. However, you might see a new combination of fruits or a nut variety you hadn’t thought of using before. If nothing else, use the series as a reminder that this is the perfect way to use your windfall of fruit this time of year and pull out one of your own favorite recipes.

What’s not to love about moist, fruit-filled cake and sweet summer fruit? It’s the perfect breakfast, brunch or afternoon treat! Enjoy the fresh baked, fruity goodness!!

~Pineapple Coconut Bread smells so good when it’s baking and tastes even better!!

~Hana Banana Bread is an excellent version of a classic! (Of course, if you’re actually on ‘The Road to Hana’ when you’re eating it, it’s exponentially better!)

~Lemon Loaf is so lemony and amazing with the lemon icing drizzle that it’s hard to beat!

~Kula Fields Strawberry Macadamia Nut Bread is moist and sweet, but not overly so. It’s delicious!
