Miss Party has been a busy, busy little bee working on the ‘Grimm Evening’ (Twisted Fairy Tales) Halloween party. Everything is looking fabulously horrifying, if she does say so herself. ‘Creeping’ Beauty looks like death warmed over, Hansel and Gretel look much worse for wear after their visit to that nice old woman in the Black Forest and ‘Sin’derella has left a few of her ‘bad girl’ accessories behind on the hearth. Well, this is a TWISTED fairy tales theme, after all!
All those starving teen guests need warmth and sustenance on a frosty New England night in late October, so Miss Party is preparing to serve a warm dinner and hot drinks. It’s time to cook up a big ole’ pot of “Hansel and Gretel Soup”, make one perfectly poisoned candy apple on a natural stick (“RESERVED” for Snow White, of course) and whip up a few other tasty treats.
The food and scene signs were made up today and they really fit the theme and somewhat ‘Burton-esque’ styling of the party…lots of photos in the next couple of days, promise! Don’t you just want to take one bite of that beautiful candied apple!!!
